Nargol is a beautiful coastal village in Valsad District of Gujarat, situated near the Maharashtra border. A Famous Aviary, which is the oldest and most famous of the Parsi fire temples, is also present near the beach and its often visited by the Parsis.

It’s perfect place for people in search of Beach with silence & looking for some Gothic/Heritage touch in place. It is 62 km away from Valsad city and distance between taluka HQ umbergaon and nargol beach covers 16 kms or 9.9 miles or 8.6 nautical miles.

Nargol beach is dotted with Casuarina trees and the waters have a population of sea turtles. The nearest town is Vapi, located about 25 kilometres (16 mi), and the nearest airports are Daman and Surat. The nearest railway station is Sanjan, (about 11 kilometres from the village) with frequent train connections to both Mumbai in south and Gujarat in the north.

Nargol beach is one of the rare unexplored tourist place in Vapi. Nargol beach is probably one of the few undiscovered beauty in the tourist itinerary, has lush palm trees greenery all around which makes the entire surrounding gorgeous. Stretches of sands, dotted with graceful casuarinas trees, the soft gentle waves crashing on the shore along with the pacific breeze, makes the surroundings cosmic paradisaical.

How to get there

By road: The Distance of Surat lies 234 km from Ahmedabad, 131km from Vadodara, and 297 km from Mumbai. Bus stations, both ST and private, are on the eastern edge of the city.

By rail: Train stations are also on the eastern edge of the city.

By air: Various domestic flights connecting metros and other major cities are operational from the Surat Airport.
