YMCA Indian Student Hostel in London
The YMCA Indian Student Hostel, London is a prestigious project of the National Council of YMCAs of India and it is one of its kind outside India. It was started in the year 1920 and had been rendering pioneering service to the Indian students who have been coming to London year after year for furthering their studies, providing them a safe haven, a home away from home. It also became a cultural centre for the Indian students and crucial place for meetings and interactions between senior leaders in the Indian political scenario and civil servants.
LONG TERM ACCOMMODATION
The room is furnished with a single bed with the bed linen, pillow, a blanket and a bath towel.
Late Dinner will be provided at a service charge of £1.00 per meal.
The other items in the room are a wardrobe, a study table, a chair and a reading lamp. The rooms will be cleaned twice a week and common toilets will be cleaned on a daily basis by a professional housekeeping company; the bed linen will be changed once a week. Breakfast, Dinner and weekend Lunch will be provided.
The hostel is equipped with Central heating system which works 24/7 during winter season; Fridge and Micro wave oven in the common area; Washing machine and dryer machine for laundry service are operated only by Debit Card/Credit Card; electric iron and iron boards are available in the corridors.
