The Highlands at Dove Mountain is the premier community for active adults. Hidden in the Tortolita Mountain foothills, The Highlands is a gated community that sets a beautiful view right above the hustle and bustle of, three thousand feet above, Tucson, Arizona. One third of The Highland’s nine square miles is completely open land for a scenic and quiet environment, surrounded by preserved and protected lands. Being at such a high elevation, summers here resist what is usual in Arizona and remains at lovely cool temperatures, keeping the active population well stocked in outdoor activities to partake in no matter the season.

The golf course at The Highlands at Dove Mountain is a full eighteen hole championship course that has an open view of Tucson, the Marana Valley, and the many mountain ranges that surround it such as the Tortolita Mountains. The golf course offers six sets of tees which allow all levels to have a fun and challenging course on which to play, leaving allowances for any handicap and any skill level – perfect for the seasoned golf pro of just the hobby player.
The Highlands at Dove Mountain golf course aim to create a friendly environment in which to play the game that you love, or are learning to love, to make friends who enjoy the same type of activities as yourself, and to learn and enjoy this activity. The golf course at the Highlands is open year round including the winter months, where different types of starting procedures are put into place so that the highest number of players possible are able to make their tees in the shorter and colder days.
Membership Options
Membership to the Highlands at Dove Mountain golf course is offered on several different levels so that you will be able to choose the plan that works best for you. Not a single one of these membership levels requires that you make an equity investment, just a simple annual or monthly fee — all of your specific choice to best suit your golfing needs and wants. The Highlands at Dove Mountain golf course also offers a deal to players who are more hobby players and do not frequent the course as often as they would like. Instead of plopping down annual or monthly fees for just a few days of play each year, the Highlands at Dove Mountain golf course offers by the round resident rates for these types of specific players for their golfing games.
Golf carts are allowed on the range, and can even be continued to be used off the course itself into the surrounding community. Most residents choose to own their own carts, but there are also golfing carts available for rental use for the players who do not wish to purcahse their own. The course also offers a shop.
